Picking a compounding pharmacy can be a very mysterious and confusing thing to do. Robin Novak will give an educational presentation on what compounding pharmacies are and what they do including the standards and regulations for which they must abide by. Remember, CMS standard 416.41 contracted services -states the governing body is responsible to oversee the delivery of services provided to the ASC. Services must be provided safely and effectively. Contracted services must be part of the QAPI program.
