The New Year brings new measures, are you ready?
This is the most recently updates to Quality Reporting for 2019. All previous sessions should be ignored due to the massive changes to the program.
This session will cover only those changes that were officially approved in the Final Rule. We will provide an in-depth discussion of each measure in order to clarify elements for existing reporters and supply facts for new reporters. This is especially important as the healthcare arena moves closer to enhanced quality programs that effect reimbursement. You will learn which measures the facility will report vs voluntary measures vs measure information gathered directly by CMS. As you can see in the handout exhibits, explanation of the normothermia rules will be covered.
The majority of ASC’s are currently submitting data. It is important to keep up with the current requirements and they change each year.
