Cathy has over 20 years of experience in healthcare services management. During her position as Regional Manager for Barnes Hospital, Cathy oversaw several physician practices. As Regional Administrator for Novamed, she oversaw operations of the physician practices, as well as the ambulatory surgery centers and optical shops in the Metro St. Louis and Illinois areas. Under her direction, a state-of-the-art refractive surgery center was also designed and opened in St. Louis, MO.

Cathy is Founder and President of Excellentia Advisory Group, a consulting and development company serving both the surgical industry through ASC’s as well as surgical hospitals and office-based surgical practices. Cathy’s passion has been teaching compliance to CMS Conditions of Coverage, AAAHC accreditation, and assisting ASCs with their survey readiness.

A 25-year seasoned veteran in healthcare compliance, operations, organizational management, Environment of Care and Infection Control Procedures give him a wide background to pull from. Mark’s background in providing clinical care is vast; he has provided care in many areas such as the Emergency Department, Flight and Ground Paramedic, Critical Care and Hyperbarics. Mark is a graduate of Webster University; he holds a Masters of Business Administration, Masters Healthcare Administration, and Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management and an Associates Degree in Nursing. He is a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional, Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, A Certified Hazard Control Risk Manager and a FEMA Certified Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Trainer and Planner. He serves on the AHE Board of Directors and serves as the Chair for the APIC Practice Guidance Counsel for Environmental Service Disinfecting. His experience in senior management positions in healthcare, along with his clinical background provides him with a full 360-degree overview of healthcare operations. Mark’s position with Jani-King International is Corporate Director of Healthcare Services. Jani-King’s healthcare program consists of four segments, Environmental Services, Dietary Service, Laundry Service and Facilities Maintenance. His responsibility was to provide worldwide strategic planning, marketing and operations to 121 Regional offices in 22 countries. Mark is currently VP of Clinical and Technical Support for Contec Healthcare who is a global leader in the manufacturing of critical cleaning products for surgical settings.
