2012 Life Safety Codes for Existing ASC’s - Effective July 5, 2016

Finally CMS has approved the 2012 edition of the Life Safety Codes for ASC’s! The effective date was 7/5/16. If you don’t feel like you are ready don’t panic as CMS is still in the process of preparing their surveyors. After training, surveyors will begin surveying for compliance for both the 2012 Life Safety Code as well as the 2012 Healthcare Facilities Code on November 1, 2016.

Under her direction, a state-of-the-art refractive surgery center was also designed and opened in St. Louis, MO.
